Brett & Behin had a fabulous wedding celebration! Their Persian & American ceremonies were held at Loew’s Vanderbilt in Nashville; & family & friends came from ALL over to see these two join their lives together. We enjoyed shooting this wedding for Brett & Behin so much because you could truly feel the love & admiration when they looked & touched each other.

This was also our first time shooting with new friend & photographer Myrick Cowart of Myrick Studios; & man, was this guy fun! During the reception, he was dancing on the floor with the guests while shooting photos of them! It seemed like every one was on the floor & these people knew how to party! People of all ages were loving all kinds of music; & Brett seemed like he would never stop dancing.

All of the guests & vendors were so great to work with & we truly enjoyed being able to share this celebration with Brett & Behin!

We were so excited to shoot Josh & Laura’s wedding because they were SUCH a fun couple & Laura is an awesome wedding planner!
Those two things = one amazing wedding!
Laura looked absolutely gorgeous in her gown & nobody but her mother had seen her in her dress until the day of the wedding. Josh rocked out his pin striped suit with his blond spiky hair; & had created the greatest groom & groomsmen’s entrance we have ever seen! Seriously, guys, people will be talking about it for years! Josh’s groomsmen entered into Scarritt Bennett stomping & clapping to a very classy “We Will Rock You.”
Their reception followed at Gaylord Springs, & this was just full of fun moments & many surprises: Josh surprised Laura with a “special song” that he wrote for her, Laura surprised everyone with her size 14 sneakers, & all the wedding guests had an awesome time dancing the night away!
We want to give a special shout out to Mark & Noelle of McCoy Made because this was our first time shooting with them & they were awesome; & we want to say thanks to the coordinator Courtney Hammons because she did a beautiful job & even voluntarily worked on her birthday!

Recently, our good friends Jason & Lori of Crumb de la Crumb were contacted by Food Network saying that they had been chosen to be in the running with a lot of great cake designers for an upcoming show. They were told that they needed to submit a video telling more about themselves & why they would love to be on the show! The cool thing is, they didn’t even apply for the show, Food Network contacted them (which goes to show that hard work does pay off!) Well, we were so excited when Jason & Lori asked us to shoot this video for them! So last week we shot the video & it was sent in the next day! Then yesterday we received a phone call from Jason saying that they had been chosen to be a part of the Happy Birthday Miss America Cake Contest!

We couldn’t have been more excited to hear this awesome news for these two! Allison of Food Network told Jason & Lori that she was so excited that they had been picked, & that their video was so well done!! She said it was sweet and it showed Jason & Lori’s personality so well; and she could see that Jason and Lori had a great chemistry together. Allison went on to say that she couldn’t wait to meet them and that she would be rooting for them and knows they will do great!!

Awesome job guys! We are so excited for you two, & know that we & the rest of Nashville will be cheering you on!

Adam & Stephanie, the sister of our good friend & wedding planner Emily of Simply Yours Weddings & Events, were married a few weeks ago at Central Baptist Church in Knoxville, TN. Without giving too much away, Stephanie was the third woman to wear her wedding dress; & you can read more about it on Emily’s blog. Their wedding centered around tradition, family, & the Legacy of Stephanie’s wedding dress; & because this dress was so important to so many women (especially Stephanie), we made this beautiful tradition the theme of the teaser.
Adam, Stephanie, & both of their families were very welcoming & we truly enjoyed spending this most special weekend with them all!
