Not only did we finally get to meet them face to face, we got to share dinner & a tour of the Cowboys’ Stadium with them!

We got to tour the stadium, throw a football a little on the field, & visit both the cheerleaders & players’ locker rooms.

Bald Head Island is a place that you need to take a ferry to; and the only vehicles driven there are golf carts and bicycles. Needless, to say, it was a beautiful and calm place with NO road rage icon smile Grant + Sara | Same Day Edit and a perfect setting for a wedding. Grant & Sara had been planning this wedding for a long time, and every detail was perfect! Their ceremony was held right on the beach, and their nautical-themed reception was held close by at the island’s clubhouse. Grant & Sara were kind enough to provide cottages right on the beach for family, close friends, and vendors (including ourselves) -and we were so grateful! One morning, we woke up at 6:00 just to see the sunrise on the beach -quickly followed by a couple hours of nap time! We also had the privilege of sharing a cottage with Bonnie of Belles Fleurs and our talented new friend (and island meal buddy) Bobby James. If you haven’t checked out his music… you SHOULD!
Below is our first Same Day Edit that we surprised Grant and Sara with at their reception. In a later post, we’ll show you how we did it with only two people and no laptop. Everything except the Rehearsal speech was shot the same day of the wedding. ENJOY!
