Well, December is finally here! Our anniversary, Christmas, & New Year’s Eve are all in December which makes it our favorite month! Everybody knows that we love this time, especially couples like Brittany & Jeremy, who are getting married next August. Yesterday, Brittany posted this fun little video on our Facebook wall & we just thought it was so funny that we wanted to share it with you all!

I just wanted to give you guys a fun little post to read today! I wanted to share my favorite app (for the IPad) with you guys… it’s a game called “Flight Control.”
The purpose of this game is to land as many planes as possible without them crashing into each other. Sounds easy, right? Well, it’s not! At first they send in just a few planes for you to land. Then, while you think you’ve got it, they send in about 5 more planes or helicopters at the same time that need to be landed on the same red, blue, yellow, or green landing strip.

When I first saw Eugene playing this game I thought it was one of the stupidest games I’ve ever seen… then, when he wasn’t looking, I started playing it. Needless to say, I’ve become addicted & now consider myself a professional at landing planes
For the longest time Eugene had the high score (91 planes), but we’re very competitive. So of course I had to play until I had the high score of 98 PLANES! I’m sure the high score will be different in a week, but it’s all about fun, right? So if you have an IPad & you want a really fun game, then Flight Control is the one to get!

We hope you all have a very happy Thanksgiving and get to spend it with all your friends and family! Hey after you watch this video, you can technically say that we were both with you on Thanksgiving! (Also look past the fact that this video is a little out of focus. We set the camera on our book shelf and shot the video).

[Question]: Do you have any fun Thanksgiving day traditions?

In honor of Eva, our Rottweiler, turning 2 yesterday, we decided to write a post on her! It will be almost two years in January that we took a four hour drive in the cold to adopt our little Eva from her breeder. She was the last Rottweiler puppy left; & she was sitting in the food bowl hogging it from the other litter of puppies. Needless to say, we fell in love instantly!

It’s so funny how people treat their dogs like humans. Before we got Eva I always thought it was ridiculous how people babied their pets like children; and now Eva IS like our child with fur
A few weeks ago we took Eva on a trip to visit her vet, Dr. Doug; only on this visit she didn’t know that she would be staying a little longer to be spayed. So like any dog who loves a road trip, she sat by the window in our car letting her big floppy doggy ears flap in the wind

Her surgery went great & they had to shave her belly to perform the surgery. So, for a while she was walking around with a doggy bikini wax.

Question: We were informed that because she has been spayed before she turned two, her risk in getting breast cancer will be reduced…. did you know dogs could get breast cancer?
