Grant + Sara

This past weekend we had the privilege of shooting Grant & Sara’s destination wedding in Bald Head Island, North Carolina; and we had a blast! Bald Head Island is a place that you need to take a ferry to; and the only vehicles driven there are golf carts and bicycles. Needless, to say, it was a beautiful and calm place with NO road rage and a perfect setting for a wedding. Grant & Sara had been planning this wedding for a long time, and every detail was perfect! Their ceremony was held right on the beach, and their nautical-themed reception was held close by at the island’s clubhouse. Grant & Sara were kind enough to provide cottages right on the beach for family, close friends, and vendors (including ourselves) -and we were so grateful! One morning, we woke up at 6:00 just to see the sunrise on the beach -quickly followed by a couple hours of nap time! We also had the privilege of sharing a cottage with Bonnie of Belles Fleurs and our talented new friend (and island meal buddy) Bobby James. If you haven’t checked out his music… you SHOULD!
