Josh & Ashley | Wedding Teaser

Josh & Ashley were married last Saturday evening at Belle Meade Plantation in Nashville, TN. We attended their rehearsal two days before and we were completely rained out! Unfortunately, the ceremony had to be moved inside too because of the rain; but Julie Murphy (planner) did an amazing job of making everything STILL look beautiful! Josh and Ashley were married in the stables and the reception followed in the room next door. They were such a fun couple, and even though plans were completely flipped that day, the wedding turned out to be absolutely beautiful and so much fun! This was our first time working with Blue Tone Music, and man, do they know how to rock a party! They had, what seemed, the entire wedding party and guests on the dance floor rockin’ out and break dancing -yes, we said break dancing!;-)
Josh and Ashley are a beautiful, fun, truly loving couple, and now Doctors (they graduated a few days before their wedding); and we had a great time shooting their wedding! Spelling, really?

So this weekend we finally gave into the hype of the words with friends app. This app is basically a game of scrabble for your iphone. Let us say that this app is soo addicting. The coolest part about the game is that we don’t have to just sit and play the game. We can play throughout the day. It would probably be way better if Eugene’s phone wasn’t on the fritz, but thats a whole other blog post;)
1 Spelling, really?

The funny thing about this app is that we are always joking about how Eugene is the worst at spelling. Turns out he can spell way better than we both thought! He knows more random words than anyone out there (and by that I mean he just puts random letters on the board and hopes that there is some word out there with that spelling) HAHAHAHA:) So have you played words with friends? I know we’re a little late to the game, but if you’re a fan of the game you should probably send us over your username so we can play a game or two!

Brent & Tami | Wedding Teaser

For Brent and Tami’s wedding, we brought in our second team to shoot and they rocked it! Brent and Tami were married last Saturday, May 8th at Woodmont Christian Church in Nashville, TN. Tami was one of the most beautiful and fun brides who had the bluest eyes! She began her morning with our friends over at EyeCandy Salon; and she and Brent ended their night at the Cannery Ballroom; and from what we heard, every one had a blast at this reception! Brent and Tami did an awesome job planning their wedding even when they had to move their reception site one week before the wedding due to the flood! Now Tami told us a few weeks ago that, although we’d already used the song, she just had to have “Hey, Soul Sister” as her teaser song! So, here you go, Tami and Brent! Enjoy!


Congratulations, Brent & Tami! Your wedding was beautiful and it will be one that no one will be able to forget!

We’ve had a few people ask us what their DVD Menu would look like so we figured we should share a DVD menu from one of our past couple’s. Just like the fun wedding teasers we post, your DVD will be nothing short of amazing! One of the best compliments we get from our clients is when they tell us stories like this..

Couple: Hey Friend you have to see our wedding DVD

Friend: I have a better idea, how about we watch paint dry, or better yet..we can go out to your front yard and watch the grass grow

Couple: No seriously just watch the the teaser with us.

Friend: Teaser?

Couple: Just hold on a sec [insert DVD]

Friend: Whhhhhaaaaaaattt???

Couple: What, What?

Friend: This is just like a movie..We didn’t have a million dollars to spend on Videography like you guys

Couple: hahaha! Whatever… it wasn’t even close to a million dollars. We only paid blah blah blah blah.

Friend: What? Shut up! We paid more than that for our videographer and we only watched our wedding video once. We figured since we paid so much it’d be really good. In case you’re wondering…it wasn’t that good. It was better than having my uncle shoot it on his camera, but it wasn’t anything like this!

Couple: Ha! Sucks for you. Okay that was mean, I’m sorry! Our DVD is the bomb though!

Friend: Yeah, how about you rub it in a little more! Lets watch the ceremony!

The End

We have some of the most fun couples and we actually had one of our couples tell us this story while we were hanging out a while ago:) We know that there are a ton of other videographers in and around our area who are amazing at what they do. So be sure to book a videographer even if its not us. Find someone that you can see yourself hanging out with for a day. If you can’t see yourself hanging out with the videographer, then it could make for a long wedding day:) And now the moment you’ve been waiting for….

EDIT:: Yes, We know Speeches is spelled wrong:) Eugene made this menu and he is the worst speller in the world:) hahaha! (He has to wear a name tag so he can spell his name right..ok not really, but that would be kinda funny)
