Pete + Nichole | Wedding Teaser

Pete & Nichole had one amazing [& hot!] July 3rd wedding in the Wills garden at Cheekwood in Nashville, TN. Not only were they the only wedding who had Cheekwood all to themselves, they also had the Chihuly art exhibit, which made for some bright new scenery for some rockin’ shots! One of the great vendors we worked with that day was Emily Humphries of Simpy Yours Weddings & Etc. & she brought us the most awesome water misting fan that kept not only ourselves cool, but Nichole & some of the bridesmaids. Thanks, Emily!
A trolley carried the wedding guests to the reception which was held at Aerial [on the rooftop.] Pete & Nichole were later introduced, then danced their first dance… the TANGO! They had been taking dance lessons so these two looked like professionals! We really had a TON of fun shooting this wedding with new vendors, a great couple, & some unexpected fireworks!

Brent & Tami | Wedding Teaser

For Brent and Tami’s wedding, we brought in our second team to shoot and they rocked it! Brent and Tami were married last Saturday, May 8th at Woodmont Christian Church in Nashville, TN. Tami was one of the most beautiful and fun brides who had the bluest eyes! She began her morning with our friends over at EyeCandy Salon; and she and Brent ended their night at the Cannery Ballroom; and from what we heard, every one had a blast at this reception! Brent and Tami did an awesome job planning their wedding even when they had to move their reception site one week before the wedding due to the flood! Now Tami told us a few weeks ago that, although we’d already used the song, she just had to have “Hey, Soul Sister” as her teaser song! So, here you go, Tami and Brent! Enjoy!

Congratulations, Brent & Tami! Your wedding was beautiful and it will be one that no one will be able to forget!

If you follow our blog, then you’ll know that we shoot a ton of weddings. There’s nothing more special than being with a couple on one of the most important days of their lives. It’s been said that you can’t be a good wedding videographer if you shoot anything other than weddings -we’re living proof that that’s not true.

Anyone can take a bunch of cool shots and just throw them together, but that can only keep your attention for so long. We like to tell a story to keep your attention -and that’s what we strive to do for all of our videos. People have asked us, “How do you come up with such cool shots and still tell the story?” Well, to be honest, we get a lot of ideas from our photographer friends. If we see an awesome photo, we figure out how we can convert their photo into our video. To learn new things, you must try new things -and we’re always trying to think outside the box! As we’ve said before, even though we’re always trying new things like posting stills from our video … you won’t find us doing anything else except video

Recently, the ever so sweet and talented EyeCandy Salon was having a photo shoot with Ace Photography, and they asked us to shoot a “behind the scenes look” for the salon! As you can see above, this “behind the scenes look” is a perfect example of our mix-and-match shooting/editing style. Not only were we shooting beautiful, “cutesy” models, we also were shooting hot, punk rock models. Below are the some of the rockin’ stills we pulled from our footage… ENJOY!!!

Our Midnight Adventure!

You’ve been waiting … and now it’s finally here! Alice in Wonderland that is The Mad Hatter, the White Rabbit, the Cheshire Cat -they’re all back, and we’re so excited to see it! We wanted to share the “Alice in Wonderland” trailer for those of you who might not have seen it, and to let everyone know that it opens tomorrow (March 5th.)

So, just in case you haven’t seen it yet…

We’re going to the midnight showing (12:01 AM to be precise) at Regal Opry Mills tonight, if some of you friends want to join.

Santino & Tryce | Wedding Teaser

Last year the phone rang, and on the other end was one of the coolest California ladies we’ve ever talked to. At first, we thought she was the actual bride calling about her wedding, but we later found out that she was the Mother of the Groom. She went on to tell us that her son was actually in the military and served over in Iraq. We were both honored and excited because we had never shot a military wedding and had always wanted to. We were honored because we found out that Santino would be going back over seas at the end of May [only a few months after his wedding]; and they had no doubt that we would be the best in Tennessee to capture their wedding.

Santino & Tryce had a gorgeous and unique military wedding! Their ceremony was held at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Madison, TN. Then, after the ceremony, we all left the church in their rockin’ stretch Hummer. Santino and Tryce wanted to have some chill time at the Flying Saucer, and then we also made a quick stop at the Shelby Street Bridge in downtown Nashville! The reception soon followed at the Bluegrass Yacht and Country Club in Hendersonvlle, TN. There are many great traditions for military weddings; and one, which we loved, was Santino & Tryce cutting the cake with a sword (which Tryce gave to Santino as a gift before the wedding.) We LOVED this couple and their family; and ever since their wedding we could not wait to share their teaser with you! Enjoy!
