Just a few weeks ago, we got to hang with Natalie and Maddi at the pancake pantry! Both of these girls are off the chain, but we wanted to share a cover that Maddi did of Adele’s “Rolling in the Deep”! Sometimes, for us, listening to covers of songs can be way more fun than the original songs!

We started thinking about all the covers that each song must have & then I thought…Hey Heather lets have a fun contest! We come up with a song and have people share some of their favorite covers of the song. Bam…we’re gonna have a contest:) Watch the bloggidy blog next week for a fun contest!

But wait! We started thinking of a prize we could give away, and it just so happens that we’ve been chatting with Kelly Moore the creator of the kelly moore bag hint! hint!

We have always said that Southwest Airlines is the way to fly; but we wanted to share this funny bag story with you all.

We had been out of town for most of this month & we had just completed our last leg of the trip thinking, “Yes! We’re finally home!” As we were walking down to the baggage claim, we heard our names being called over to baggage claim 1, & this is what we saw…

It was our sad little suitcase that had gotten caught on the cart. Fortunately, only two clothing items were ruined, & they still had the tags on them so Southwest could write us a check for the value of them. -They did WAY more than that! Not only did they replace our bag with a bigger, redder bag, they wrote us a pretty nice check for the clothes.

Like we’ve always said, Southwest Airlines is the way to fly, & we still stand by our word. This little hiccup was unfortunate, but they took good care of us & we will always fly Southwest!

Some of you may not know, but we’ve been redoing some things in our office! Not sure how, but we completely forgot about craigslist until we wanted to sell our old desk.

While we were posting we figured we’d look around a little bit and see what people were selling. Oh man! We’re so happy we did search around craigslist!! We ended up scoring these and a ton of other vintage cameras! They’re adding so much to our office! We love them!

During our trip to Oregon to film a few photographer’s promo videos, we found out about a Police officer who had been shot during a traffic stop. We always hate hearing about things like this, but it was even worst knowing that Officer Chris Kilcullen was leaving behind a wife and two kids.

Heather & I (almost at the same time) said we had to be at the memorial to shoot some video for the family! We wanted to be sure that the family knew how much support they had from all of their friends, family, and co-workers!

It was, for real, amazing to watch everyone come together during the memorial. We never realized how tight the police community was until we saw everything that took place during Officer Chris Kilcullen’s memorial.
