We’ve had so many couples ask us if they only get the wedding teaser on their DVD or if they get more footage. The answer is: Yes! You do get more footage. You not only get the teaser, but you get the Ceremony, Reception, and the Bride’s Morning. For the ceremony, you will be able to clearly hear your vows in their entirety. (Most videographers will only give you highlights of the ceremony and you’ll hear no vows.)
After all, these are the most important promises you will ever make to each other, and most couples won’t even remember them after the honeymoon (Eugene and I don’t remember much of our vows -and we didn’t even have a video, which is another reason why we want all of our couples to be able to hear their vows.) For the reception and the Bride’s Morning, you will also be able to hear any funny stories or any speeches that will be given.This is one of the most important days of your lives, and we want you to be able to remember all of it!

Blake & Mackenzie had an amazing evening wedding last Saturday in Nashville, TN at Mackenzie’s parent’s house. Almost everything was planned, designed, and even setup by Mackenzie’s mom, Teresa. It was the most beautiful DIY (Do it Yourself) wedding we have ever seen!
The pink and green-swirled wedding cake and chocolate-covered groom’s cake was designed and delivered by Homestyle Bakery -and they were delicious! All of the food was cooked by Mackenzie’s mom, Teresa and family. The table centerpieces were my ABSOLUTE favorite! They were pink hydrangeas placed in a glass cylinder filled with floating green apples Gorgeous! We also had the opportunity to work with our friends from Lamberth Photography (who just got back from THEIR honeymoon in Hawaii.)
The reception was held under a white tent which was DJ-ed by Funky Diva, and lit by pink and green lanterns -everything was pink & green! Congratulations, Blake & Mackenzie! You had a beautiful wedding and we can’t wait to hang out with you when you get back.
Don’t look sad, brides, be pleasant and put a smile on your face.
Almost every bride will cry at her wedding. We know how emotional your wedding day is (after all, we had a wedding.) It would even benefit you much to bring a (hidden) tissue or two to the altar -we all know it’s not very attractive to see a snotty-nosed bride or groom.
Just a word of advice, brides, please try your hardest to look happy and smile. We’re not saying to distort your face to smile while you’re crying (you don’t want your groom and minister to think you’re crazy just look pleasant. We once had a bride who was ecstatic about getting married but did not smile the whole day, even when she was walking down the aisle, because she was trying not to cry. You may be able to get away with just your groom seeing your face, but remember, any funny faces you make will all be reflected on video -and you know everybody will see that!
So enjoy your day, brides, and put a smile on that face!

Thank you to all of you who came by our booth on Sunday at the Bridal Show in downtown Nashville. We were so glad to see so many of our vendor and bride friends. Some of which included: The Thirty Something Bride, and Maiden to Married -we were so glad to finally meet them both in person; and our good friends Ryan & Savannah (whose wedding we will have the awesome privilege to shoot with Jonathon Campbell Photography) stopped by to chat with us.
