Burning a CD is one of the easiest things to do. Grandma Betty has been calling almost everyday asking us to help her get onto Youtube so that she could watch some of Bill Gaither’s music. Today she got a CD full of gaither’s songs that we burnt her. Now like we said burning a CD full of music was no big deal for us, but she called us earlier today crying. She said it was one of the best things that we could’ve given to her.
Its funny how such a small thing could make her day. On the same note though, if you think about it, sometimes the smallest things can change your whole attitude towards the day. Today We went out with another couple and did a little of this, and a little of that. It was actually a lot of fun!! Finally we went to get some food at whitecastle/church’s chicken. The guys had whitecastle, and the girls had Church’s chicken! Along with the chicken was a order of mashed potatoes, and cole slaw. No one remembered to grab any forks so we went and asked for some. The guy at the counter said they were out of forks, spoons, and knives. So we all sat at the table and complained and got pissy about not having forks!!
We ended up catching ourselves letting our whole night get ruined just because of a couple of forks.
The next time you get pissed off and have a terrible day, stop and think about it. Is not having a fork really that big a deal. Don’t let the little things ruin your day!!
Ok…I thought I knew the two of you a little bit…but where in the world did you get Gaither music????????? HAHAHAHAHAAAAAAA!
